Studio XII

In our generation today, there is so much talent walking around that gets unnoticed, especially in our home of Oklahoma City. Young, local artists thrive on opportunities that will take them one step closer to achieving their dream. Next week at Studio Twelve, recording label DefJam as well as ROC Nation, Atlantic Records, Maybach Music Group and magazines such as XXL Magazine and This is 50, are taking on OKC with a storm to find the next big hit. The event will take place on November 15th and will begin at 8:00 AM for any local artists who want to get face to face time with big record labels. This could be a big break for the young talent of OKC. For more information go to or email

Art is found everywhere, but artists with unique style and persona are hard to find. Over the past few weeks we have had many talented artists come in and out of our building and come to find out, some of the best are in the building next to StudioXII. Marcus Muse is the creator of the Muse Art and Tattoo shop and is passionate about the art that is created in his shop. Muse Art and Tattoo was established in January of 2013 and is home for some of the youngest talent in OKC. If you haven't checked them out, I suggest you do a little bit of research on this little piece of mastery.

This past weekend, Muse hosted his tattoo party at our studio and the outcome was better than expected. The event started at 2PM and lasted until 2AM in which people could pay to have Muse and his artists give people tattoos, but not just that - people came and mingled, the DJ had people dancing and the atmosphere was live. Special guests Perry Jones, Vernon Deas, and Kalif Gallego were the judges of the best tattoo contest with different categories and the top 4 winners each received a one-of-a-kind, hand painted skateboard decks which reflected the winner of each category.

#LRG Party

Oklahoma City is on the come up for many things, fashion being one. Local artists are actively pursuing a dream to create their own fashion line. There are many aspiring artists throughout the city who are alluring people with their custom designs. One in particular is a brand named LRG, well known in the west coast and based out of California. This past weekend, LRG hosted their launch party at Studio XII in our very  own Oklahoma City. Their purpose for the event was to raise awareness for their brand in the midwest. The event turned out to be spectacular and many people came out to support the cause. There were also guest appearances by Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Perry Jones III. LRG can be found locally in Oklahoma City and can also be found on their website.
